October 1 Smackdown from New Orleans moved to Baltimore

The October 1 episode of Friday Night Smackdown has been moved to the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland from the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The reason for the location change was not given although it’s most likely due to Hurricane Ida which wrecked havoc in the state over the past few days. There was no major damage reported to the arena but it will take time for the people of New Orleans to get back to their daily routine.

WWE said that those who purchased tickets for the New Orleans Smackdown will have their tickets honored for a new, yet-to-be determined 2022 date.
