During yesterday’s WWE Off The Top Rope segment on ESPN SportsCenter, Bray Wyatt, accompanied by Braun Strowman and Erick Rowan in masks, challenged The Rock for a match at WrestleMania 33.
Former WWE announcer Todd Grisham, replacing Jonathan Coachman, welcomed the trio to the show and asked Bray how did the whole Wyatt Family character came about. Bray said that no one understood them, and no one cared but over time it has been rewarding. “We’ve grown, people respect us, it’s a beautiful thing,” Bray said.
Grisham asked what is the reaction of people when they see them at the airport or public places. Bray laughed and said most are hesitant to approach, especially when all of them are together, but he’s a charming individual and people respect them. Rowan and Strowman then took the masks off and Grisham passed a remark how they’re three of the most beautiful people on the roster, with Bray replying saying that not one member of the Wyatt Family ever had a struggle with women!
Asked about being in the ring with The Undertaker at WrestleMania, Bray said it was the best thing and the Undertaker is above titles. “It was fascinating being around him,” Bray said, adding that it’s a feeling he probably won’t be able to recreate.
He then issued a challenge to “the biggest star in the world” The Rock, saying they have unfinished business together and he’s free at WrestleMania 33. He said the segment they had with The Rock at WrestleMania this year “was cool” and it was great watching over 100,000 fireflies.
