Paige says rumors of her being cleared to wrestle are 100% not true

Another WWE Superstar, this time Paige, had to resort to shooting down more unfounded rumors after word began spreading online that she had been cleared to wrestle.

Paige quickly denied these rumors saying, “Nope. I’m not. At all. One more knock to my neck could result in paralysis.” She suggested that fans should not read “facts” on the internet and while she wishes that the news was true, “it’s 100% not.”

Paige retired the day after WrestleMania 34 during Monday Night Raw. She had been injured again in December of last year and had not wrestle since due to neck problems. She was appointed Smackdown General Manager on the post-WrestleMania Smackdown, replacing Daniel Bryan who resumed his in-ring wrestling career.

Alexa Bliss also used Twitter to shoot down rumors that she was retiring due to concussions that are currently keeping her away from in-ring action.
