Paige working on returning to the ring

Former WWE Divas and NXT Women’s champion Paige has started hinting that she is working towards a return to the ring.

“I’m not done yet,” Paige wrote on Twitter, before expanding on the topic during a session on Twitch.

Paige, who revealed that her WWE contract expires in June 2022, said that she’s training to make a comeback but if that does happen, she will keep it a secret and her return would be a surprise. She then said that she will be documenting her return thinking that fans would probably enjoy watching her journey.

The Brit has not wrestled since December 2017 when she was part of a tag team match and collapsed after she was dropkicked in the back by Sasha Banks. She had spent over a year on the sidelines before due to neck surgeries and then she was diagnosed with spinal stenosis, effectively ending her in-ring career.

Apart from working on WWE Backstage last year, Paige has not been seen on WWE television since March 2020 when she appeared via video during the build up to WrestleMania.
