Parker Boudreaux signs WWE developmental deal

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is reporting that Parker Boudreaux, the former football player from the University of Central Florida, has signed a developmental deal with WWE.

The 23-year-old, who many compare to Brock Lesnar, received a nice endorsement from Paul Heyman several weeks ago, with Heyman retweeting a Boudreaux post where he said that 2021 was going to be special.

“His tweet is not a prediction. It’s a spoiler. Save this #HustleTweet for future historical reference,” Heyman wrote.

Boudreaux visited the WWE Performance Center and was backstage at the January 20 NXT television tapings and during the Royal Rumble, he posted a photo with Eva Marie saying that they’re having a Rumble watch party.

The 6’4″ athlete, who was heavily sought-after, left the football team he was playing for to embark on his new wrestling career. The UCF Knights’ 2021 football roster was published and his name was not on the list and several football sites reported that he was no longer part of the team.
