Possible injury to Finn Balor at NXT live event in Nashville

NXT champion Finn Balor seemed to be a little banged up after his match against Samoa Joe yesterday at the NXT live event in Nashville at the Nashville War Memorial Auditorium.

Balor apparently twisted his ankle after hitting the Coup de Grâce on Joe and after the match he kept holding his leg and was eventually helped up by the referee. From a video that was uploaded online, the referee took his time to lift Balor’s arm in victory and held on to him as soon as the NXT champ made it on his feet.

With the string of injuries that WWE has at the moment, an injury to the NXT champion is something that they want to avoid. The good news is that all the NXT television tapings leading up to NXT Takeover: Dallas are done so if it’s something that just needs rest he has two months to get back.
