Punjabi celebration for Jinder Mahal on Smackdown tonight

Live on Smackdown tonight, the new WWE champion Jinder Mahal will be throwing a Punjabi celebration, the second such celebration after The Great Khali threw a similar one when he won the World Heavyweight title in 2007.

Also announced for Smackdown is a tag team match featuring Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair taking on Natalya and Carmella, the next challengers for The Usos’ Smackdown Tag Team titles, and an announcement by Smackdown Commissioner Shane McMahon on Money In The Bank.

Rusev, who was supposed to return last week, said on Twitter that there’s no NHL game tonight, hinting at showing up on the broadcast. Last week after he did not appear, he wrote that he wanted to watch the NHL game.

There are also rumors that The New Day will be returning on television today. The popular trio have been missing in action since the night after WrestleMania and the following week were traded all to Smackdown in the Superstar Shake-up.
