Punk and Rhodes face-to-face segment next week on Raw

CM Punk and Cody Rhodes will finally have the face-to-face confrontation on WWE television next week on Monday Night Raw in New Orleans, Louisiana.

In a message on social media, Punk told Cody that it’s about time he asked him what he wants to talk about.

Cody had a strong opinion about Punk in his last AEW televised promo before he left, addressing the pipe bomb promo from Raw a decade earlier.

“I see all the CM Punk shirts, it is the comeback of the decade. We are all living it, we are all loving it. But in his absence, in the void that CM Punk left behind, somebody did do each and every one of those things,” Cody said at the time. “I did them.”

Cody has never publicly talked against CM Punk and was very welcoming of him when he returned to WWE, saying that if he’s back to increase business, then welcome onboard.
