Randy Orton returns to WWE TV tonight after 9 months out

WWE Superstar Randy Orton will make his first WWE televised appearance since the end of September 2015 tonight at the Battleground pay-per-view as a special guest on The Highlight Reel hosted by Chris Jericho.

The Viper had to undergo shoulder surgery which kept him out of action for 9 long months. The only time Orton appeared on a WWE broadcast was during the Hall of Fame ceremony and was interviewed as well during the red carpet arrivals broadcast. Apart from that, Orton, stayed away from the WWE spotlight as he continued his recovery.

In November he married Kim Marie Kessler and the two are now expecting their first child together. Earlier this month Orton was announced as facing Brock Lesnar at the upcoming SummerSlam pay-per-view.
