Randy Orton signs new long-term deal with WWE

Former WWE champion Randy Orton has signed a new multi-year deal with WWE. The news was announced during the WWE Backstage show on FS1 and then confirmed by Orton himself in a tweet.

Orton wrote that the three most dangerous words in sports entertainment – RKO – just re-signed with the most dominant three letters in sports entertainment – WWE. He also said he looks forward to pissing off WWE fans for at least five more years.

Orton has been signed to a WWE deal since 2001, making him one of the longest-serving Superstars on the roster.

The former 13-time champion trolled fans a few weeks ago after he posted a photo on Instagram in front of a sign reading “Elite Level” and tagging Cody and Jericho.
