Randy Orton has been cleared to resume wrestling and is back on the road for non-televised live events.
Orton, who had his last match against Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam, wrestled Bray Wyatt last night in Springfield, Missouri, and won the match via an RKO.
The two were supposed to wrestle at the Backlash Smackdown-only WWE Network event however WWE medical did not clear Orton in time so Wyatt was announced as the winner via forfeit. Bray then had to wrestle Kane in a no holds barred match, a match which he lost, thanks to an RKO by Orton.
Orton suffered a concussion after he got two unprotected elbow shots to the head by Lesnar at SummerSlam, one of which opened a nasty laceration which required 10 staples to close. He is scheduled to wrestle Lesnar again in Chicago on September 24 at a non-televised Raw live event.
