Raw and Smackdown General Managers to be chosen tonight

Live on Raw tonight, Shane McMahon and Stephanie McMahon, the Commissioners for Smackdown and Raw respectively, will be announcing the General Managers who will be “running” the two brands moving forward starting from tomorrow.

Shane McMahon already announced on his Twitter that he chose his new GM but Stephanie has made no mention of anything yet. Vince said that if they fail to name the two General Managers tonight he would be naming someone for them instead. A Smackdown preview uploaded by WWE last week had a headline that read the YES! Movement is taking over Smackdown, suggesting that Daniel Bryan will be the one in charge of the blue brand. We could not confirm the authenticity of the screen shots that were floating around on the Internet so it could be a fake.

Both Raw and Smackdown have seen their fair share of General Managers in the past including Eric Bischoff, Jonathan Coachman, William Regal, Mike Adamle, Vickie Guerrero, Bret Hart, Anonymous Raw GM, John Laurinaitis, AJ Lee, Teddy Long, and others.
