Raw rating for 01/02/2023

The first episode of Monday Night Raw of 2023 drew an average of 1,605,000 viewers, and while it was up 531,000 viewers from last week’s best of show, it was down 103,000 viewers from the December 19 episode which was the last time Raw had a first-run show. Raw faced an NFL game which was abandoned due to the cardiac arrest of a Buffalo Bills player which had a combined audience of 23 million viewers.

Hour one started strong and drew 1,832,000 viewers and then it went down to 1,597,000 viewers in the second hour and down to just 1,387,000 viewers in the third and final hour for a drop of 445,000 viewers from hour one to hour three.

Raw was further down the chart this week in the 18-49 demo with 0.46, 0.42, and a 0.36 for an average of 0.42 and placed #11, #12, and #13. All top 10 shows were all NFL, college football, and NHL. (Ratings credit: Showbuzzdaily.com)
