The Jordynne Grace vs Cora Jade match on NXT last night was stopped by the referee after Jade suffered an injury.
The stoppage came after Grace and Jade got themselves in the corner and Jade immediately told something to the referee. The ref told Grace to back off and threw up the X hand sign which signifies a real injury.
Lilian Garcia, subbing for Mike Rome, then announced Grace as the winner. She was then helped by the ringside physicians.
Speculation was that Jade had another knee injury, but the young NXT star dismissed those claims in a post on X early in the morning writing, “Got rocked for a sec but my knees are all good (decent). Thanks for the concern.”
Jade had nine months out in 2024 after suffering a torn ACL.
