Reigns gets title shot on Smackdown tonight plus more matches announced

A couple of matches have already been announced for tonight’s Smackdown on FOX including a title match. Smackdown last week dropped a whopping million viewers from its debut episode and with no draft to rely on, it will be interesting what the base audience will be on FOX.

The Intercontinental title will be on the line as Shinsuke Nakamura will be defending against Roman Reigns. Also a number one contenders match for the Smackdown Women’s title will take place in a six-pack challenge match involving Carmella, Dana Brooke, Lacey Evans, Nikki Cross, Mandy Rose, and Sonya Deville. The winner gets a title shot against Bayley at a date still to be announced. And the third match announced is an eight-man tag match with Big E and Xavier Woods of The New Day teaming up with Heavy Machinery to take on the Smackdown Tag Team champions The Revival and Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode.

Smackdown tonight takes place from The Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.
