Renee Paquette to host Smackdown Kickoff show on FOX leading to season two premiere

FOX today announced that to celebrate the start of the second season of Friday Night Smackdown, a Kickoff show will be held on Friday, October 16 starting at 7:30PM ET.

The 30-minute show will be hosted by WWE Hall of Famer Booker T and former WWE announcer Renee Paquette, who returns to host her first show for the company since she quit WWE. Paquette still has a working contract with FOX Sports, allowing her to be part of WWE-related broadcasts for FOX.

FOX also announced its expansion of WWE coverage on the FS website with the addition of its newest multimedia contributor, Ryan Satin. The former editor-in-chief of Pro Wrestling Sheet joins the network’s digital team just in time for the WWE Draft, which he discusses in his first FOX Sports column.
