Rey Mysterio out with torn triceps injury

Rey Mysterio suffered a torn triceps on Sunday at Payback during his match where he teamed with his son Dominik to take on Seth Rollins and Murphy.

The injury was announced by WWE.COM yesterday and Mysterio was then taken off his scheduled match against Seth Rollins on Raw and replaced by Dominik, who lost again to Rollins.

His injury is believed to be not as serious as a full tear, but still one that will need a couple of months to fully heal. Mysterio is not expected to undergo surgery, at least not yet.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer also reports that Mysterio recently signed a new WWE deal believed to be in the region of three years.
