Former World Heavyweight champion Rey Mysterio wrote in a post on social media that he suffered an injury on his right ankle this past Monday on Raw while wrestling Baron Corbin.
Mysterio also uploaded a slow-mo video, which apparently is used by WWE medical to assess injuries as it has a “Property of WWE” watermark, closely showing the nasty landing and impact on his ankle.
“Praying to be ready for Mania this Sunday,” Mysterio added. He is set to take on Samoa Joe for the United States title and now is in a race against time to get the all clear for the show.
