Rhodes to kick off Raw, Ripley to pick WrestleMania opponent tonight

The two Royal Rumble winners – Cody Rhodes and Rhea Ripley – will be on Monday Night Raw tonight as the fallout from the Rumble and road to WrestleMania continue.

Rhodes will be kicking off Raw, his first appearance on the show since the Raw following Hell In A Cell in June 2022. Cody will be going after the Undisputed WWE Universal title at WrestleMania and posted a photo of the Winged Eagle WWE title on his Instagram today.

There were some rumors a few weeks ago that WWE were going to split the main world titles again and Cody would be going only after the WWE Championship but the situation should be more clear after tonight’s Raw.

Meanwhile, Rhea Ripley will be making her decision on who she’s going after at WrestleMania. Her two choices are Bianca Belair and the Raw Women’s title or Charlotte Flair and the Smackdown Women’s title.

Ripley was on the receiving end of being picked by Flair when she won the Royal Rumble in 2020 while Ripley held the NXT Women’s title. Flair successfully beat Ripley at WrestleMania 36 in front of no fans during the COVID pandemic.
