Roman Reigns attacked by fan at Victoria non-televised live event

WWE Superstar Roman Reigns was struck in the head with a Money In The Bank replica briefcase which a fan threw from ringside during yesterday’s live event in Victoria, British Columbia.

Reigns was hit hard and then moved to the corner of the ring where he laid down for a few minutes as security rushed to grab the person involved in throwing the object. Reigns’ opponent, Bray Wyatt, looked on and then went on to check on Reigns in the corner before the referee, who at that point was helping security, stepped back in to resume the match.

The Twitter account for @ScanBC, an online radio scanning community, said that Victoria Police responded to a call at the Save On Foods Memorial Centre after a person assaulted a WWE wrestler.

The fans inside the arena chanted “kick him out” after security personnel apparently identified who threw the briefcase and ejected him from the area. A fan who was sitting ringside recorded the incident on his cell phone and you can see the video below.
