Roman Reigns tops the 2022 PWI 500 chart

The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns has been named #1 on the yearly PWI 500 chart, stepping up one place from last year. Last year, it was then AEW World champion Kenny Omega who took the top spot.

This is the second time that the Undisputed WWE Universal champion has been named at the top of the chart, having done it as well in 2016.

This year, the top 10 chart consists of four WWE Superstars, three AEW stars, one NJPW star, one AAA star, and one who was previously Ring of Honor.

Following Reigns in #2 is Kazuchika Okada from New Japan Pro Wrestling and #3 is former two-time AEW World champion CM Punk. #4 is occupied by another former AEW World champion Hangman Adam Page and current WWE United States champion Bobby Lashley is #5.

Cody Rhodes sits in #6, followed by Bryan Danielson at #7, El Hijo del Vikingo of AAA is #8, former WWE champion Big E is #9, and former ROH World champion Jonathan Gresham wraps up the list in #10.

The list was announced on Busted Open Radio today by Al Castle and Candace Cordelia of Pro Wrestling Illustrated.
