Roman Reigns withdraws from the 2024 WWE Draft

Prior to the start of Friday Night Smackdown, Paul Heyman announced that Roman Reigns was withdrawing himself from being eligible to be drafted as he is not returning in the immediate future.

Heyman said that this is not a negative, but it was a way not to hog the number one draft pick spotlight.

Reigns has not appeared on WWE TV since his loss to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania and is not expected to return for several months. The Bloodline storyline will continue, with his input in creative on the faction, and will eventually lead to his big return later this year.
