Ronda Rousey vs Liv Morgan for SD Women’s title announced for Extreme Rules

Ronda Rousey will get another shot at the Smackdown Women’s title at Extreme Rules after she won a fatal five-way match last night on Smackdown.

The finish came after Rousey hit the Piper’s Pit and locked in the ankle lock on Sonya Deville and Deville tapped out.

This sets up Rousey vs Morgan in a rematch from SummerSlam where Morgan controversially won and kept the title after the referee counted Rousey’s shoulders down without realizing that Morgan was tapping out before the three count hit the mat.

This is the first official match announced for Extreme Rules which takes place on Saturday, October 8 live from Philadelphia.
