Rowdy Roddy Piper statue unveiled at WrestleMania Axxess

A statue of Rowdy Roddy Piper was unveiled yesterday at WrestleMania Axxess to honor the WWE Hall of Famer in front of his family.

Apart from his family, fellow Hall of Famers Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, Sting, Jimmy Hart, and soon-to-be Hall of Famer Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake, were also in the ring for the unveiling.

Piper passed away in July 31, 2015 due to a heart attack.

This is the sixth statue which has been unveiled at Axxess as part of the Hall of Legends segment. Other statues include those of Andre The Giant, Ultimate Warrior, Dusty Rhodes, Ric Flair, and Bruno Sammartino.
