Roxanne Perez becomes #1 contender for NXT Women’s title

Roxanne Perez won a 20-woman battle royal which morphed into a fatal four-way match towards the end last night on NXT on USA Network.

With this win, Perez now becomes the number one contender for the NXT Women’s title currently held by Lyra Valkyria and will get her shot at the Vengeance Day premium live event next month.

The final four ended up being Perez along with Fallon Henley, Kiana James, and Kelani Jordan, with Jordan eating the pinfall.

In related news, Madi Wrenkowski made her NXT debut in the battle royal replacing Cora Jade, who is out with an ACL tear. Wrenkowski, the former NWA star, is now using the name of Wren Sinclair.
