Sami Zayn gets Intercontinental title shot at WrestleMania 40

Sami Zayn is going to WrestleMania and will be wrestling Gunther for the Intercontinental title.

Zayn won a six-person gauntlet match last night during the main event of Monday Night Raw to punch his ticket to Philadelphia. The match saw Ricochet beating JD McDonagh first, then Bronson Reed defeated Ricochet to advance before Zayn came in and beat Reed, Shinsuke Nakamura, and the favorite Chad Gable in the final match.

Zayn is a former Intercontinental champion himself but faces a mountain of a challenge against the longest-reigning Intercontinental champion in the history of WWE who has not been pinned since his NXT days.
