Sasha Banks and Naomi suspended indefinitely and stripped off Women’s Tag Team titles

In what could be a sign of what’s coming next, WWE has suspended Sasha Banks and Naomi indefinitely and stripped them off the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles.

The announcement was made by Michael Cole on Smackdown yesterday, who said that what the champions did disappointed millions of WWE fans and their peers. Cole then said that both have been indefinitely suspended by WWE and a tournament will be held to crown new WWE Women’s Tag Team champions.

The suspension comes a few days after Sasha and Naomi walked out of Monday Night Raw, disrupting the already-announced main event. The duo walked out over creative differences.

Meanwhile, any merchandise from both Sasha and Naomi have been pulled out from WWEShop.com and are no longer available for sale.

The situation between all parties involved have gone from bad to worse with no reconciliation in sight. Both Sasha and Naomi are said to have their contracts expiring in a couple of months but the company can freeze them until they’re back.

The two were in negotiations for a new deal when they walked out of Raw.
