Sasha Banks to face Alexa Bliss at SummerSlam for the title

In front of her home town fans, Sasha Banks became the number one contender for the Raw Women’s title after defeating Nia Jax, making Jax tap out to the Banks Statement.

Jax and Banks, who each won a respective qualifying match last week, had their match after Bayley revealed last week that her shoulder injury would prevent her from wrestling Alexa Bliss on the pay-per-view. Bayley originally defeated Banks to advance to SummerSlam.

The last time Bliss and Banks wrestled at Great Balls of Fire, Banks came out victorious via count-out, so Bliss retained the title.
