It looks like Seth Rollins’ time as WWE World Heavyweight champion could be in jeopardy as the champion has suffered a torn MCL and a partially torn meniscus according to Fightful.
Rollins will be kicking off Monday Night Raw to address his future. Depending on the tear grade in the MCL, recovery for that could take up to six weeks and the same for a meniscus if he decides to undergo surgery. Both would put him still in time for a WrestleMania return.
The champion suffered the knee injury this past Monday when he was wrestling Jinder Mahal for the title. He was heavily limping afterward and had to be helped to the back.
Rollins, who won the title by defeating AJ Styles in the tournament final at Crown Jewel last May, was removed from any future non-televised live events.
