Seth Rollins wins the WWE World Heavyweight title in Saudi Arabia

In a lengthy opener to kick off Night of Champions live from Jeddah, Seth Rollins became the new World Heavyweight champion after defeating AJ Styles in a phenomenal match.

The Saudi fans sang along to Seth’s theme and fireworks helped “burn it down” as Rollins celebrated with the title which was presented to him in the ring by 14-time champion and Hall of Famer Paul “Triple H” Levesque.

In the tournament to crown the new champion, Rollins defeated Damian Priest and Shinsuke Nakamura in the first triple threat qualifying match to advance to the semi final match against Finn Balor before reaching Jeddah and Styles. Styles had to go through a triple threat involving Edge and Rey Mysterio as well and then defeated Bobby Lashley to go to the final match.

This is Seth’s first heavyweight title run since 2019.
