Several WWE Twitter accounts hacked by OurMine

Several WWE Twitter accounts – including the ones of John Cena, Triple H, NXT, WrestleMania, WWE Network, WWE, and WWE Universe – were hacked late last night by elite hacker group OurMine, known for many hacks showing vulnerabilities in major systems.

The group posted, “Hey, it’s OurMine we are just testing your security, please contact us for more information, Thanks” along with their logo on all the hacked social media accounts.

Nothing malicious was posted and WWE eventually regained control of their accounts but it does leave the ones running their social media a bit red-faced.

In 2016, they OurMine group hacked the Twitter accounts of Wikipedia co-founder Jimmy Wales, Pokémon Go creator John Hanke, Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey, and Google CEO Sundar Pichai.
