Sky in the UK raises WWE PPV prices by 5 GBP

While the majority of WWE fans around the world enjoy the former pay-per-views as part of the WWE Network for $9.99 a month, UK fans have once again got the short end of the stick.

Not only the Network is still absent from the United Kingdom, but the monthly WWE specials on Sky Box Office had their price increased from £14.95 to £19.95. With the new contract that kicked off on January 1, all 12 specials will air on Sky Box Office. Under the old deal, a couple of them aired for free on Sky Sports 1 for those who had a Sky Sports subscription.

Sky will start taking order for the Rumble on Tuesday, January 13. Customers in Republic of Ireland will have to shell out €24.95 for the show.

The price is equivalent to around $30.
