Smackdown live from Madison Square Garden tonight on FOX

A very special episode of Friday Night Smackdown airs tonight live from the world’s most famous arena in New York City as over 10,000 fans are expected at Madison Square Garden on the eve of the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Tonight’s show is headlined by the return of former WWE and Universal champion Brock Lesnar who will be on the show to confront Roman Reigns. Smackdown Women’s champion Becky Lynch will also be in the house as she and Bianca Belair sign their contract for their rematch at Extreme Rules.

Two matches have been announced for the show including The Usos vs The Street Profits for the Smackdown Women’s title and Edge and Seth Rollins wrap up their feud with one more match.

16-time world champion John Cena will also be in the house but his appearance will likely be only for those at MSG. He is being advertised in a six-man tag team match as he teams up with The Street Profits versus Roman Reigns and The Usos.
