In two weeks, Smackdown will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of Triple H in the WWE with a special broadcast. A teaser ran yesterday during Smackdown on FOX announcing the broadcast.
Triple H, as the Connecticut Blueblood Hunter Hearst Helmsley, made his WWE debut on April 30, 1995 during an episode of Wrestling Challenge, defeating Buck Zumhofe. It wasn’t until 1997 that his career took off in WWE when he joined D-Generation X and as they say, the rest is history. The Game had a total of 24 title reigns in 25 years, including nine times as WWE champion and five times as World Heavyweight champion.
It will be interesting to see how WWE tackles this special tribute episode…hopefully with not a lot of old replays!
It's time to play #TheGame.
