Smackdown to get “trade compensation” for losing Jey Uso to Raw

With Jey Uso officially moving to Monday Night Raw, it was announced last night that Smackdown will get a “trade compensation” in return.

It was not revealed who will be moving to the blue brand but a big name is expected to jump over.

Jey, who for the first time since he started with WWE will not be teaming up with his brother, was announced as the newest member of the Raw brand on Saturday night by Cody Rhodes during the Grayson Waller Effect.

On commentary last night on Raw, Michael Cole said that as a former EVP, Cody knows how to get things done. Cody was an EVP at All Elite Wrestling before he moved to WWE.

It is expected that whoever will be joining Smackdown will be revealed this Friday.

Interesting to note is that Cody Rhodes is scheduled for this Friday’s Smackdown as he is not traveling to India with the rest of the Raw brand for the non-televised event in Hyderabad.
