Smackdown TV report for 01/26/2024

Eladio Carrion was introduced. He gets in the ring and introduces Randy Orton. Randy says he is going to beat Roman Reigns. AJ Styles came out to ask if he knew there were other people in this match or if he looked past AJ Styles.

LA Knight joins and tells them he is going to win tomorrow night and that will be the end of that. LA leaves the ring and AJ kicked Orton and gave him a kick to the head for hitting him with an RKO last week.

Carlito VS. Santos Escobar

As Humberto & Angel began fighting with Del Toro & Wilde, Zelina Vega got on the apron yelling at the referee and Santos and Elektra Lopez attacked Vega and while Carlito was distracted, Santos sneaks up and rolls him up for the pinfall.

Winner: Santos Escobar

AJ Styles is walking backstage and gets stopped by Jimmy Uso. He asked him to help them get rid of LA Knight tonight and the O.C. walked up and asked what that was about, and AJ said don’t worry about it.

Ava walks into Nick Aldis office and he congratulated her for being the youngest General Manager and she asked if he had any tips and he said in time. Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits came in too and Bobby shook her hand. Santos and his crew walked in and Santos started talking to Aldis.

A video package of Bayley is shown as she talked about her career and Damage Control.

Back in Aldis’ office, R-Truth picked his number for the Royal Rumble and then told him Mr. Pearce, your hair grew back awful fast.

Kabuki Warriors (Kairi Sane & Asuka) VS. Kayden Carter & Katana Chance *For the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

Sane takes out Chance after slamming her awkwardly onto the announce table and Asuka hooked Carter in a neck breaker position, while Sane hit the elbow and Carter landed hard on the mat while Sane got the pinfall.

Winners and New WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions: Kabuki Warriors

In the locker room Heyman is begging Solo to fix the problem for the Tribal Chief. Solo looked at his tapped-up thumb and said OK. Jimmy said he smirked and that is scary. Heyman tells Jimmy he needs to enter the Royal Rumble and he needs to face Seth Rollins and bring the World Title to the Bloodline.

Bobby Lashley & The Street Profits go face-to-face in the ring with the Last Testament.

Scarlett went to the ring and Kross and AOP with Ellering stayed on the stage. Lashley said Kross said we are not fighting tonight but we are, and Profits dove out of the ring after Kross and AOP, but Scarlett jumped on Lashley’s back and The Final Testament left Lashley and the Profits laying.

Jimmy Uso is in Aldis’ office to pick his entrance number and he didn’t seem too thrilled with his number.

Austin Theory VS. Carmelo Hayes

After a reversal, Theory held Hayes’ tights to get the pin.

Winner: Austin Theory

After the match both Theory and Grayson Waller, who was at ringside already with Theory continued to beat Hayes until Trick Williams came out and threw both Theory and Waller out of the ring.

LA Knight VS. Solo Sikoa

As the action spilled out of the ring, AJ Styles comes from the crowd and hits Knight with a phenomenal forearm causing the disqualification.

Winner by DQ: LA Knight

Jimmy lays a chair and tells AJ to finish Knight, Solo then started yelling at him to hit Knight but Styles hit both Solo and Jimmy. Randy Orton comes out and takes out Jimmy, Solo and AJ.
