Smackdown’s King and Queen of the Ring finalists revealed

The other two finalists in the King and Queen of the Ring advanced on Smackdown which took place from the Jeddah Superdome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia earlier today.

In the first semi final match, Nia Jax beat Bianca Belair clean to earn a spot in tomorrow’s final against former NXT Women’s champion Lyra Valkyria. During the closing moments of the match, Belair went for the KOD but her knee gave out, allowing Jax to finish her with the splash.

In the second semi final and main event of Smackdown, Randy Orton inflicted Tama Tonga’s first loss in WWE after an RKO and advanced to the final against Gunther. Kevin Owens came to Orton’s rescue following the match after Solo Sikoa beat down Orton.

The previous two King and Queen of the Ring winners, Xavier Woods and Zelina Vega, did not participate in this year’s tournaments. Vega was originally penciled in but an injury kept her out.
