Stephanie McMahon says WWE can be as big as Disney!

Speaking at the Web Summit in Lisbon, Portugal with CNBC’s Elizabeth Schulze during the Sports Trade panel, WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon said that she sees WWE as big as Disney in the next couple of decades.

“10, 20, 30 years from now, there is no reason we can’t be as big or bigger than Disney,” Stephanie said. “Now, that’s a tall order especially given recent transactions. However, there’s no reason why we can’t get there. You have to dream big, have big…bold goals, and go after them!”

Financially, at least, it will probably take way more than 30 years to reach Disney, with the company having a $174 billion market cap while WWE sits at around $5.5 billion!

During the same chat, McMahon also said that NXT UK is their testing base before they expand on their global strategy where they hope to have something similar to the WWE Performance Center in every key country they think it makes sense.
