WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin appeared on the MMA Hour show with Ariel Helwani earlier this week and talked about if he’s ready for one more match, say, maybe at WrestleMania XXX.
Austin said it took him three years to get wrestling out of his system, calling it a “long withdrawal” and now it has been 11 years since he had the last match.
“I know a lot of fans would love to see it. But what if it’s not what it should have been or could have been?,” asked the former champ, saying he doesn’t want to be at 90 percent if he goes for it.
“It would take a three or four months of a UFC style training camp to pull it off, get the timing and the right wind. It would take at least three months of training, period, and then, what next?” added Austin.
“The chances are pretty damn slim to be quite frank about it.”
