Steve Austin says he will ask McMahon about CM Punk tonight

WWE.COM has posted an interview with WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin in anticipation for tonight’s live podcast with Vince McMahon on the WWE Network right after Monday Night Raw goes off the air.

In the interview, the Rattlesnake talked about how he started his podcast, the difficulty in interviewing people versus selling tickets as a wrestler, and more, but perhaps the most interesting question was when he was asked if there’s something specific he wants Vince to answer tonight.

“Nothing is off limits. There’s a line that I won’t cross, but that’s for my standards — nothing that WWE has told me,” Austin replied.  “There are many things I’d like to ask him. I’d like to know what’s going on with CM Punk. I’d like to know how Daniel Bryan’s health is. I’d like to know whose idea it was in Atlanta [that made me] take my ball and go home in 2002. I reacted the worst way possible, but I want to know who came up with that masterpiece of an idea,” he added.

The Atlanta episode he’s mentioning is the night that he was told he would be wrestling Brock Lesnar in a King of the Ring qualifier without any buildup, a match which Austin refused to participate in and eventually led to his departure from the company for almost a year.
