SummerSlam 2022 crosses 35,000 tickets sold with 48 hours to go

With just two days to go for SummerSlam, WWE keeps selling tickets to the show at the Nissan Stadium and it now has crossed 35,000 in ticket sales.

According to ticket tracking service @WrestleTix, the total so far is 35,612 tickets sold and WWE moved 1,200 more tickets in just 24 hours. The stadium is currently configured for 37,752 seats, but that could expand if more tickets are sold over the next 48 hours.

WWE has a good track record of selling tickets in the last couple of days for big events and moved thousands of tickets for the Royal Rumble back in January in the days leading up to the show.

While Smackdown and Raw were already largely written by Vince McMahon, SummerSlam will be the first show which is headed up by the creative team led by Paul Levesque.
