When WWE launched SuperstarsForHope.com in association with Indiegogo.com, expectations were pretty high however after 4 days since launch date, the company has only managed to raise $6,945 from fans, far short of their $200,000 goal.
While fans can donate any amount, special perks are available to those who donate big. So far the highest donation has been $2,500, with the donor getting a 2-day NXT experience, featuring a tour of the WWE Performance Center, meet and greet with NXT Superstars and Divas, a promo with Dusty Rhodes, and tickets for an NXT taping.
Other perks include backstage experiences, signed WWE titles, a pay-per-view VIP package and other items which go up to $20,000.
Today WWE added four more perks aimed towards those who are willing to donate a lot of money. A $10,000 donation will get you a WWE World title replica signed by Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon, and Triple H; A $15,000 donation gets you a lunch with Triple H at the Performance Center, a tour of the facility, and tickets for an NXT taping; Another $15,000 will get you a backstage tour at a live event from Roman Reigns and four premium tickets to the event; And a $20,000 donation gets you a suite for 10 people to WrestleMania 31 at the Levi’s Stadium, a private lunch with a WWE Legend, backstage tour at WrestleMania with Superstars or Divas, and autographed WrestleMania merchandise.
WWE will be adding big perks every week leading up to WrestleMania.
This year, the Superstars for Hope campaign will be dedicated to raising funds for Special Olympics celebrating acceptance and inclusion, and Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford in support of finding a cure for pediatric cancer in honor of Connor’s Cure.
