Tamina Snuka returns at Smackdown non-televised live event

Tamina Snuka returned to WWE action for the first time since May 2015 at the non-televised live event in Edmonton, teaming up with Natalya to take on Carmella and Alexa Bliss.

Snuka, the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka, underwent knee surgery in early May to repair torn ligaments and was not drafted during the 2016 Draft. The Edmonton show was a Smackdown-brand live event although it’s still not clear if Tamina will be part of the blue brand going forward.

Tamina had a rough start to 2017, losing her father in January.
