Tegan Nox returns on NXT

Tegan Nox made her return on NXT last night, her first televised appearance since the September 23 episode of NXT on USA Network.

On that night, Candice LaRae attacked Nox on her injured knee, forcing Nox out of the NXT Women’s championship number one contender’s battle royal match. A week later, WWE announced that Nox suffered her third ACL tear and would be out of action for an undetermined amount of time.

On NXT last night, the battery level that had been appearing on the show for the past few weeks reached 100% during the women’s tag team title match and when the lights came back up, Nox was there, distracting LaRae, which eventually led to The Way’s defeat.

The Welsh star tore her ACL for the first time before the start of the 2017 Mae Young Classic tournament where she was supposed to be a part of. She returned in mid-2018 and was announced for that year’s tournament but she was unlucky again as she tore her ACL, MCL, and suffered other injuries in the quarter final match against Rhea Ripley. This was her third major injury in four years with WWE.
