The Slammy Awards will be presented today in a special broadcast starting at 10AM ET on the WWE Network and WWE’s digital properties. R-Truth will be hosting the show, with several Hall of Famers and other celebrities presenting the awards.

Fans were able to vote on five different categories while five additional categories were not eligible for fan voting.

Those categories which were available for fan voting included Superstar of the Year, Match of the Year, Rivalry of the Year, Tag Team of the Year, and Return of the Year. Not eligible for voting are Ring Gear of the Year, Breakout Star of the Year, Female Superstar of the Year, Male Superstar of the Year, and Moment of the Year.

Nominees for Superstar of the Year are Drew McIntyre, Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, Braun Strowman, The Fiend, Asuka, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch, Bayley, and Charlotte Flair.

Match of the Year nominees are The Undertaker vs AJ Styles (Boneyard Match at WrestleMania 36), New Day vs The Hurt Business (RAW on November 16), Edge vs Randy Orton (Backlash), Men’s Royal Rumble, AJ Styles vs Daniel Bryan (Friday Night SmackDown on June 12), Roman Reigns vs Jey Uso (I Quit Match at Hell in a Cell), Sasha Banks vs Bayley (Hell in a Cell), AJ Styles vs Jeff Hardy vs Sami Zayn (Ladder match at Clash of Champions), Drew McIntyre vs Roman Reigns (Survivor Series), and Becky Lynch vs Asuka (Royal Rumble).

Rivalry of the Year nominees are Seth Rollins vs. The Mysterios, Drew McIntyre vs Randy Orton, Edge vs Randy Orton, Sasha Banks vs Bayley, R-Truth vs The World, Lana vs Announcer’s Tables.

Nominees for Tag Team of the Year are Bayley and Sasha Banks, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler, The New Day, The Street Profits, Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura.

Return of the Year nominees are Edge, Roman Reigns, MVP, Bill Goldberg, and Sami Zayn.

Presenting the awards today will be Mick Foley, Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, Trish Stratus, The Bachelor’s Demi Burnett, actors Clark Duke, Rico Rodriguez, and Ken Jeong, actress Raini Rodriguez, Jersey Shore’s Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, rapper Method Man, and Derek Baker from TikTok.
