The Boogeyman is comin’ to get ya!

The Boogeyman posted a photo on his Twitter posing in front of the WWE logo at the WWE Headquarters saying, “Just when you thought it was safe…”

Last week he posted a tweet telling his fans guess who’s coming home. “It feels great to be home again…cmon2getcha. ..never say …never!”

The Boogeyman gimmick is portrayed by 50 year old Martin Wright, whose first brush with WWE came in 2004 when he applied for Tough Enough. After being selected to be among the eight finalists, he admitted that he was 40 years old, over the age limit to be considered. He initially lied about his age.

Despite getting cut, he was signed to a WWE deal in 2005 and was released a year later. He returned only a month later after re-signing with WWE and spent three years there. His last appearance on WWE television came during the 2012 Slammy Awards when he interrupted Booker T.

It’s not known why he was at Headquarters but it’s likely for something which is related to the WWE Network.
