The Miz to host WrestleMania 39 and other Mania updates

With WrestleMania marketed as being in Hollywood, you need an A-lister as the host, and what bigger A-lister can you get than…The Miz!?

The only two-time grand slam champion announced last night on Raw that he will be the host of the two-night WrestleMania next month. WWE did not have hosts for last year’s WrestleMania but Hulk Hogan and Titus O’Neil were the hosts for WrestleMania 37.

Meanwhile, Brock Lesnar has accepted the challenge to take on Omos at WrestleMania 39. The former WWE champion was on MVP’s VIP Lounge yesterday and shared a drink with MVP to celebrate the match…only for MVP to get an F5 for spitting the drink on Lesnar.

And in another WrestleMania update, Finn Balor has challenged Edge for a match on the show. The two were supposed to wrestle at the Rumble but filming commitments from Edge put a pause on the encounter. Edge has not yet accepted the challenge.
