The Undertaker advertised for MSG Smackdown next month

In a bid to boost ticket sales, WWE is pushing an appearance by The Undertaker for the September 10 Smackdown, a live show which will take place from Madison Square Garden in New York.

This will be the first-ever Smackdown from The Garden and Taker’s first appearance on WWE television since Extreme Rules in June.

Tickets for the back-to-back television tapings at MSG are still available in the several hundreds and Smackdown has almost an entire ringside section unsold, a situation which was unheard of for a show at MSG a few years ago. The super expensive tickets on Ticketmaster.com probably are not helping the situation either.
