The Undertaker enters the 2017 Royal Rumble match

It has been a while, but The Undertaker will be one of the 30 participants in this year’s Royal Rumble.

Taker came out on Raw and told Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley that he is throwing his name in the list and his journey will continue at the Rumble because he has 29 holes for 29 souls and after he wins the Rumble, he will once again main event WrestleMania.

The Undertaker last wrestled at a Royal Rumble pay-per-view in 2010, defeating Rey Mysterio to retain the World Heavyweight title. You would have to go back to 2008 to find The Undertaker in the 30-men over-the-top-rope Rumble match. On that night, Taker came out #16 and was eliminated #26 by The Big Show. He spent over half an hour in the ring and eliminated three guys.
