Three matches added to Backlash 2023

The May 6 Backlash premium live event had an additional three matches announced for its card last night, one of which seemingly without any build whatsoever.

The United States title will be defended in a triple threat match as Austin Theory takes on Bobby Lashley – again – and Bronson Reed.

Rhea Ripley will get to defend her Smackdown Women’s title against Zelina Vega, who herself is from Puerto Rico and will certainly have the home crowd support behind her.

And the third match announced which literally came out of nowhere, Seth Rollins will be meeting the Nigerian giant Omos.

These matches join the main event of Cody Rhodes vs Brock Lesnar and a six-man tag match with Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, and Riddle versus The Usos and Solo Sikoa.
